WASTE OIL RECYCLING
GFL’s facility network includes two waste oil refineries in North Vancouver, British Columbia and Columbus, Ohio that recycles > 150,000,000 liters of waste oil to produce ~127,000,000 liters of recycled base oil each year that is used to build new lubricants for automotive use.

WASTE GLYCOL RECYCLING
GFL’s facility network includes two waste glycol recycling facilities in Western Canada that recycle ethylene and propylene glycols. Through GFL’s collection network we collect glycols from a variety of customers sites. Under certain conditions, we can bring the recycling process right to our customer’s location. We produce a variety of recycled glycols including a premium line of recycled antifreeze products that are sold under the brand name Ecofreez™.

OIL FILTER RECYCLING
GFL provided oil filter recycling at several locations across our network. Filters are crushed into cubes and ~99% of oil is recovered and recycled at our GFL facilities. The recovered metal is recycled through local metal recycling programs.

AUTOMOTIVE FLUID PLASTIC CONTAINER RECYCLING
GFL collects automotive fluid containers from our clients across all geographies. Plastics are segregated and shredded and sent for recycling into new resin materials and products.

REGULATED & HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT

Our Prince George, fixed facility team manages all classes of hazardous waste (except explosives, radioactive, or biohazardous materials) with services from container supply (bins, drums); onsite packaging; transportation; and licensed recycling and disposal.

The Prince George facility offers specialty services such as a full bins program, automotive fluid recycling (oil, anti-freeze, oil filters, hydrocarbon plastics) and a fully permitted solidification pad to support our vac truck customers. The waste management team includes a team of expert technicians to support any special waste handling needs you may have.

This team is supported by our GFL Technical Team (14+ team of chemists and technicians), and our Field Technician, Tim Castle, support regulatory and safety compliance for the movement of regulated and hazardous waste.

BIN SERVICES-INDUSTRIAL WASTE SOLUTIONS

Confidently manage, store, and label a variety of recyclables and waste streams without the worry. GFL storage solutions include empty bin delivery and full bin collection on a scheduled or call-in basis. GFL bins come is two size options; 1m3, 1.4m3 and 2.7m3 capacities. They can be used for storage and transportation of a variety of regulated and hazardous wastes.

We own and operate an extensive fleet of dredges and associated equipment. These Amphibex dredges are specifically designed for large volume pumping and superior excavation depths. The dredges are easily transportable and can self-load/unload.
