Mining has always been at the heart of life in Northern Canada. Whether a large or a junior mining company, the dreams of many communities hang on successfully harvesting resources from our soil. At Monster, we know the mining industry. We have worked in the mining sector throughout Northern BC and the Yukon, with developed mining sites, drilling companies, and junior mines to develop projects to improve their extraction and processing operations.
Energy Plants are a Monster specialty. We have worked on a number of large energy projects of varying complexity and successfully delivered substantial fabrication and mechanical elements for our clients independently and through our partnership with CAW. At Monster, we have the capacity to develop and execute all documentation on large mechanical installations including FME projects, QA programs, and QC programs

In our work in the forest industry, we have been fortunate to also lend our services to several pulp mill projects. We have provided a range of services from manpower solutions for shutdowns through to full turnkey solutions for process piping and mechanical installs, including all upfront engineering as well as controls and automation support.
One of the world’s lowest cost smelters is located in Northern BC. After the recent expansion project, it has increased its capacity and is one of the greenest smelters in the world. Having its own hydroelectric power station, we have been able to provide a variety of support services with our broad range of industrial tradespeople.

From cast-in-place concrete to the fabrication and installation of steel structures, to pressure piping fabrication and installation, we have demonstrated our ability to partner with key clients in this sector.
